Back Hatch - Lock Issues
Guys,
Had my 2003 7.3X for a couple months now.
Noticed the back hatch will not lock. Hatch will
not lock when you push the lock button on the
door or the remote.
The second issue is that my ignition key (the only
one I got with car) does not turn the lock on the
hatch.
Ideas?

Spray the hell out of the lock with WD40, I mean stick the red straw that comes with it where you would normally stick the key and see if that does anything. I had the same issue with my lock not working. Take the molding off and clean up the control in the door as well. Then spray that with white lithium. I had to leave my molding off and spray it a couple times a week. Finally after a ton of greasing and wiping and manually moving the locking mechanism it works like a charm every time now.
