Scroll halfway down page 11 for the list of custom PIDs for the OBS PSD. You should use the poly PID for trans temp. I believe they added the ^ functionality for powers which will save you a bunch time compared to what it took me to set it up.

Thanks! That's one of my favorite verses.

I open torque, Settings Icon in bottom left, then settings from pop up menu. Choose Manage extra PIDs/Sensors from that screen and it opens a long list of custom PID's. Then when I go to add gauges, those same customs appear as an option. I also have the option to add PID's or edit the existing ones. Should I pull the forum data you sent and compare, to just give a test try on the truck.
I'll wait for a reply before I do anything, because torque gave a big warning in the custom PID menu, and I'm not sure what KOEO is, but I"ll bet it's important.

Well crap.....
I connected my ELM to my phone, have a read power light, and a green (receive??) light in the top right that blinks to indicate communication?? and another green (transmit??) light kinda between those two that flashes randomly. Torque will not establish connection with PCM, says make sure key is on
So I break out my Autel Maxi Diag 801 pro. I've pulled airbag and trans codes from everything from Ford, Chevy Honda and VW with this thing, it's pretty handy. ..... It connects and show MIL Status: ON (I don't have a check engine light on. I've seen the Autel indicate MIL ON with no check engine light before. That was on a Jeep and turned out to be a fan relay code on the body control module.) and 124 stored codes. Maybe my uneven idle on start I've been chasing. So I go to read codes and it says option not supported. Ok?.... I back out of OBD II and go in to make specific PCM, no connection, make sure key is on.... . I tried all other connections too, such as ABS, Body, Trans.. no connections..
Where do I start looking for the broken wire or blown fuse..haha
Just to be sure, it's a 1996 so it HAS to be OBD II compliant, right?

One light is for power, one for connection to pcm, and one for the Bluetooth connection.
The two connection lights should blink rapidly.
What error message do you get in Torque? I have no knowledge of Autel. Our truck are not OBDII compliant, but they are somewhat compatible which allows us to make these things work.

Torque app shows connected to my ELM, in the adapter status menu. The only "yellow" is "Connection to ECU".
I'm watching the ECU connection status in my android status bar. I can't seem to find the right menu in the actual torque app. but here's what I have.

Seems to flash the top light a couple times each time it switches messages, on one of the protocols more than others, but I was too busy screen shotting to notice which...
I just realized ..... sorry OP
