I am leaking a clearish fluid from the point at the arrow does anyone have any idea what is going on. I got in late last night from Arkansas. Didn't notice it until today though. I haven't started my truck since last night.
That is a brake pressure switch used for cruize control.
First, verify it's definitely the switch that's leaking. Sometimes it can leak from a line, low level switch, or the bottom of the resevoir.
If it's the pressure switch, unplug it. When the key is on, the switch has power at that plug and if it shorts out it can cause a fire.
Ford had a recall on many (mostly gassers) trucks because people were losing there trucks and sometimes homes due to them catching fire.
Tomorrow call Ford and give them your VIN to see if the faulty switch can be covered under the recall. There was also a fused harness that was a part of the recall if I remember right. If it's not covered by the recall, you'll need to buy a switch on your own dime.
So I searched my VIN on the Ford website for recalls and it states no recalls is it worth even calling the dealership still?
At the very least call. If you're close to the dealer I'd even stop in and talk to the service writer. I'm sure he remembers the nationwide recall. Even if he says it's not covered, get a price and pickup the new pressure switch.
