I was checking around on the internet today, looking to find an F150 with a manual transmission similar to one I used to own in high school and came across a nice one for sale, but the dealership has it listed for $3000 more than blue book retail, they are outta their minds with the price! http://www.blaisealexander.com/Used-...PA/vd/29325467
Used truck prices are NUTS Kyle. And my and Josiah's hybrid values are in the tank. It's a consequence of cheap gas, now everyone wants a truck. Myself included, but I feel cheated because that was always my plan. Guess I'll be paying through the nose when the time comes.
Anyway, 844 miles COMPLETE in about 13 hours. Was more tiring than it should have been, old Lucy the Lincoln developed a steering issue. Feels like a binding tie rod end, I'm getting feedback when I hit bumps and it was tough to keep going in the right direction over rough pavement. I'll be figuring that out tomorrow.
Productive day, I sold an ATV and a generator today with the help of an awesome neighbor. Adjusted the steering gear in the car and ordered a caliper for tomorrow. Hoping to have a smoother tow to Minnesota than I did last week.
Pig roast was great. They started the fire in the smoker at 12 midnight. At 1 am put in the 137 pound pig and slow cooked it at 250 degrees and it was done a little early at 12 noon. At 2 we sat down to eat and the pig was moist and yummy. salads, baked beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, and a bunch of desserts. Had a good dish of food and stayed away from the desserts. Being a good boy on the diet.
