After seeing some of the campers and deals you guys got, it was really tempting to throw in the towel... However, being on a somewhat fixed income right now and probably the foreseeable future, I've had to choose my current path.. I am hoping that the walls are not too bad..
The bones of this rig are good though.. It's a steel superstructure as best I can tell. The walls are fiberglass over foam core with luan inside. The studs are wood, but their spacing is unknown.
If something changes for me financially, I'll have a pretty clean unit to trade in....
That white tube you speak of is suppose to go through the cover to the outside. It could be that someone just tucked it inside not knowing what it was for. They really aren't meant to be long lasting. Keep up the good work though!
Well initial indications are that it picks up fewer channels than the original Wingard BatWing antenna, but I did not change the direction of it either... Well - if nothing else, it looks a little nicer I guess...
