Good morning guys.

This weekend does not work for me Cory unless it's on Sunday. And the next one I will be camping.

Good morning fellas!
Camping is great! Love the new rig and this place has a lot for the kids.....and us big kids.

After some thought this weekend might be too soon if he is just ordering the door panels so leaning towards the following weekend if anyone can make it.

I tore apart some of the interior now but not so bad we can't use the camper..

Yup... Slacked most of the day under the camper with a stiff brush, paint, RTV, Undercoating and black foam sealant.... Well, at least it won't be dripping rust now...
I put a new dehumidifier inside the camper and have pulled over a gallon of water out of it in less than 24 hours...
Worked on the condensation tube for the fridge too.. I extended it and ran it through an opening in the outside grill.. It used to just drain on the floor and drip through to the cabinetry under the fridge where I found a giant bunch of mold cooties...

Bummer. Hopefully soon you can. Or you won't want to get near it again until summer.

I'm slowly turning it into the camper that I thought it was to begin with. I am really convinced that no one builds a camper that was expected to last more than 10 years.. Staples, glue, crappy luan, etc...
The interior -
I pulled the booth out and smashed it.. Left the table though and now have 4 chairs that will go in there.. The hide-a-bed is next and we'll buy a power leg lift love-seat with a center console. It will fit - just not with a lot of room to spare. Also redoing the ceilings and walls of the living-room and bedroom slides. We found some really nice lightweight carpeting that will be used. Lighting will be mostly LED.
Here are some pics of the fridge work..
Mold cooties -
Before - (see the white plastic convoluted tubing? It's the condensation line.. Just left to drip on the floor behind the fridge - dribble through a hole in that floor and down to the floor behind the cabinet.. Ugh...
After cleanup -
Condensation tube now run through the grill of the fridge..

No, unless you spend well over 100k, you aren't getting a long term unit. Maintenance is obviously important too, if they get wet you are done. Going forward I will buy a new one every 5 years. Having a 5 year warranty each time. Not willing to fight it anymore...

Keep the pics coming. You're doing a lot of work.

After seeing some of the campers and deals you guys got, it was really tempting to throw in the towel... However, being on a somewhat fixed income right now and probably the foreseeable future, I've had to choose my current path.. I am hoping that the walls are not too bad..
The bones of this rig are good though.. It's a steel superstructure as best I can tell. The walls are fiberglass over foam core with luan inside. The studs are wood, but their spacing is unknown.
If something changes for me financially, I'll have a pretty clean unit to trade in....
