Good. Tows nice and the frame is straight(er) than it was before.
They "built" a sub frame for the suspension. What a joke.
All they did was weld 3 pieces of 1"x3" tubing between the spring mounts, similar to what Randy did but these are welded in. I could have done that myself....
Then what my 7.3? If so it's about the same pulling. Maybe a little better but considering I have a ton more power, 4.10 gears and my camper is heavier and bigger I am just fine with that.
The problem is if the stuff hasn't been washed much it pretty much isn't just dirt that needs to be cleaned it has actually stained it and that is almost impossible to clean. Better off redoing it and then keeping it clean going forward from there.
And the truck probably weighs probably 500lbs more anyways. I did mean the 7.3. Did you ever pull with the 6.0?

Glad it tows good. So what is the part that is a joke? Just how they did it or what? If the insurance company paid for it then they might as well do it vs you having to waste your time doing it.

Ok I wasn't sure if you meant when it was stock or after I deleted and tuned it. Only ever towed the boat with the 6.0 and that was it.
Geeze Mike - that really bites....
Glad that it tracks well now.. That doesn't sound like a subframe to me - rather they built 3 crossmembers..
My camper has a 2x8 rectangular tubing frame rail welded to the bottom of the 2x8 I-beam chassis of the camper. Tieing those frame rails together with crossmembers creates a full subframe.
At least by their tieing the suspension mounts together it will lend a lot of additional supprt to the existing chassis.

Can you tell a difference between stock and deleted with the 6.4?
