Tom - good find on that axle seal.. That woulda made a mess of that boat if you were pulling it for a ways...
Made the announcement of my October 2nd retirement to my team at work today.. Very soon my week will consist of six Saturdays and a Sunday...
Gotta keep selling stuff to get bills paid off....
It was really tough to tell my team during our weekly staff meeting... Kept getting all choked up and normally I only choke up when telling a really funny joke...
Mike - so I musta missed it.. What's the skinny on the new truck?
Looks great from what I can see...
Hi Randy. Congrats on the retirement!
It came into the shop a few months back with some issues. Had a misfire on 1 cylinder.
It was had a broken rocker and one lifter was bad as well. The owner decided he didn't want to fix it so I bought it. Removed the heads and found one lifter destroyed and it took the cam with it. Removed the engine, tore it down and found the crankshaft and block to be OK. I ended up putting new pistons in it(it needed 1 and all new rings anyway), camshaft, new bearings, front cover, oil cooler, head studs and all associated gaskets.
