A/C question

Compressor is running no matter where selector is set. Expect in the off position?

Should be On with switch in Max, Norm, Mix and Def. Should be Off with switch in Vent, Off and Floor.

Low pressure switch turns the compressor on (if it can maintain a certain pressure ), High pressure switch turns it off . Does the air cool the truck ? Is the system over charged ?
