99 f150 4.6 2wd after driving 5 miles the front left wheel gets so hot it starts to smell.also when driving slow it feels like the rear brakes are the only ones working. I've replaced the caliper and later the rubber hose to it. the front wheel will not turn by hand and the caliper has been hot enough to stick the bleeder. I'm at a loss. if it was the master cyl wouldn't both front wheels be affected?

Probably not. Ford tends to use a diagonal braking arrangement. LF & RR on one channel, RF and LR on the second. I don't know off the top of my head for certain if the F150 uses this 2-channel arrangement, someone would need to verify it.
Either your new caliper is defective, the hose is defective, the caliper slide pins are stuck, or there's some other restriction in the hydraulic circuit (crimped or internally corroded brake line, perhaps). When you bled the brakes, how was the flow to the LF caliper as compared to the others?
Thanks, found the problem,
i had to use a hammer and punch to remove the pads from the bracket, seems there is a rusty clip like thing at the top and bottom of the bracket where the brake pads fit, wouldn't let the pads move.
