97 powerstroke refinish update

Quick update on the 97 powerstroke refinish. I got the old bed sold, and have been workin on getting all the rusty scale off the frame while I still have easy access to it. The rear fuel tank will soon be replaced, as well as that hideous cross brace supporting the mid-ship fuel tank

Looks like your off to a good start. Yea that brace looks scarry. Good luck on it. Love seeing pictures.

I would be more concerned about the rotten frame rails at the bumper mounts more than that cross member

Yeah it was. But its gone now, and replaced with a factory brace i got for the classified section.

Gunna address that as well, but that cross member supports the fuel tank so I think thats a bigger priority. I can jump up and down on the rear bumper and it doesnt move, and i'm over 200lbs.
