No electrical power

So I last drove the truck a week ago ran great no problems. Last night I went to move the truck and zero power electrical. No interior lights no gauge power no starter nothing.I checked both batteries and they both show good 12 volts on each. Turn the key on ...nothing no power anywhere?

Check all your fuses and check to see if the rats have been in your wiring.

I would start first with every fuse marked ignition there are several. Under dash fuse box. #45 10a run/start feed; #103 30a; #110 30a; #116 30a; #27 15a ignition run feed

I will start on the fuses Sunday. I have to attend a wedding today.

I doubt its rats in Phoenix Az in the summer 112-121 degrees its so hot the snakes don't even come out.

I hear ya about the heat. Any kind of rodent could be a suspect. It's just kind of strange to go from running to "dead" for no reason.

A battery can show 12v (which is low by the way) and still not have enough amperage to light a bulb. If they are in fact OK, it has to be a connection at the battery, the grounds at the engine/frame, or something shorted and blew the fuseable links on the smaller red wire going down toward the starter area on the passenger side.
