Eh, it just wears out the hole and once it starts it keeps on going.

If the holes aren't too bad, you can drill them out oversize then weld these guys in there to fix it. Fix it Weld Washers - RuffStuff Specialties

That Army Edition Ex is listed in my Milwaukee area too. Otherwise they seem to have forgotten a zero in the price.

Found two ranch hand style bumpers on Houston's CL, one's a legit Ranch Hand and the other is a Tough Country with Rigid cubes...

Tough Country for $650, F250 Tough Country Bumper

Ranch Hand, $550 Ranch hand bumper

Each one has its perks and downsides... I prefer the overall design of the TC with the higher clearance lower side pieces, but I dislike the inward angle on the grill guard. The RH is more business but I'm not a fan of how low it hangs, although overall it sits the same as a stock bumper... The major downside to both of them is you loose the stock towhooks which are quite beefy, and neither bumper has provisions for me to mount my rear hook up front.

I got my grill guard because I couldn't find anything else that I liked and now these two options are looking me in the face, lol.

Probably used a "J" bend hitch pin too long without adding a hose clamp, instead of a barbell type hitch pin.

This has been added to the first post, but I figure I'll post it as a stand alone too...

Moderators Edit: We'll see if this works on a temporary trial basis. I can understand wanting to help each other out and alerting people to good deals, but most items on CL will be strictly regional, and it may be too tempting for people to list their own CL ad which is against FTE Guidelines.

If you are tempted to post your own CL ad, please don't. If you post a CL ad and you see later it's missing, it was a discretionary call. Don't question why in an open thread because that too is against FTE Guidelines. You can PM one of the Excursion Mods and ask though.

This thread is rife with many pitfalls and problems that can get users in a lot of trouble, and I'm not convinced it will work smoothly, so let's all try to make it work together.

If you need to re-familiarize yourself with FTE Guidelines, they can be found here: Site Guidelines - Ford-Trucks.com

Also, a link is always listed at the bottom of every FTE page, in the blue colored tool bar.

Thanks for your cooperation.

If you like them over the barbell straight pin, just add a small hose clamp to the "J" end of the pin to keep the bend of the pin from wallowing or ovaling the hole out.

So basically, add this...

...to the bent elbow part of a pin like this....

....or just buy a barbell straight pin like this...

No more ovaling.

You're right, that's a tough one. Could be a great deal. I only see 1 picture though and some scammers do that. Who knows!

I normally spot the scams right away. It does appear it might be a Texas license plate. If its a scam its scary that they are getting better.
