Zf behind a 302.

Hey there I'm looking to put a zf 5 speed in my 88 F-150 4x4 with a 302. It has the m5od right now. I have a 90 F-250 4x4 with a 7.3 as the donor truck. Now I know the bellhousing is different but will the bellhousing off a 4 speed out of an 87 F-150 bolt onto the zf gearbox? Or do I need to find a bellhousing from a small block zf? And will the input shaft on the diesel zf work with a 302 clutch? Thanks in advance for your insight.

The bell housing on the ZF is integral with the case. You need a ZF from a truck with the 300 six or 351w. The input shaft will then match the 302 clutch as well.
