C4 Torque Converter Question

C4 Torque Converter Question
In process of complete drain and refill of ATF. The plug bolt for the TC is up tight against the side of the access hole in the ring gear keeping me from being able to get a wrench or socket on it.
If I remove the nuts for the TC is there enough room to back it off enough to get on the bolt?
