Oil Filters

Good Morning
Just wondering what brand of oil filters do members use in their F Trucks.I know most of the yanks run Motorcraft is there another brand that is as good.

They seem to make a nice product. And I like the white filter. Doesn't stay white for long, tho

What motor are you wanting to it your oil filter to? 7.3?, 6.0?, ....?
For the 7.3 OEM part is E4TZ-6731-A, Pennizol # PZI-48, FRAM # PH3786 and WIX # 51734, there are many others.

Oil Filters

Hi Blue
I have a 2012 Ford F 450 with the 6.7lt turbo diesel and i have been buying the motorcraft filter out of America, but the freight can be quiet expensive hence my question can we buy a similar filter in Australia.

AAh that's a different horse then, 2012 model, i cant help with that other than do a Google search or BigF350 will chime in and help you out. Sorry

I personally use Motorcraft - there was a study on the site here previously that they did the best filtration. I order 6 at a time when I am over in the states on holidays which saves on freight. I am not aware of a locally sourced alternative.

These guys are good for these kind of parts however: Ford F Series Truck Parts & Truck Accessories

On edit: Donaldson offer a replacement, not sure of cost, but you should be able to source it in Oz. Part number: P502503
