Some good looking trucks. I like the Pro Street look. Has anyone seen any articles or web sites that show you how to narrow the rear and tub the chassis? All of the truck mags seem to only want to run articles on installing an IFS. They show lots of pics of Pro Streets but no how to info on building one.
I don't intend to slam my 69, but it may get a bit hot-rodded.
One thing I noticed while thumbing thru the Jegs' catalog: they have very few drag tires for 16" wheels. I'm almost positive a 15" wheel will not clear the calipers on my front disk brakes. I went to newer aluminum rims at 16", and they barely clear the brakes. Note, these were stock with 16.5" wheels.
Do you think it will look real odd to have 15" wheels in the back and 16" up front?

Good question, but it's easier then you think. Narrowing the rear requires cutting down your axles and housing, and relocating the leafs, which could be tricky I guess. As for the tubbing, Jegs or Summit sells tubs that you weld right into your box after cutting out the existing well. I'm also eventually going to install a fuel cell in the center of the box.

I don't think so. As long as the rears have a good heighth to them. Front runner tires are sometimes a large wheel to compensate for the low profile tire.
