Yea these new cat[catater] proceduers are a little freaky. They don't put you out your awake for the whole thing. They numb you so you do not feel any pain but you can feel them pushing the tool up your artery.
I have had so many since Feb. 2 2011 I am developeing scar tissue at the insertion point. They are really have to push hard to get the cat tube in.

Dannyboy, a little friendly advice here, take it VERY easy and have a speedy recovery. Oh, and to help the heart condition get rid of any 6.0's you have kicking around.....they have been known to cause more than a few heart problems. That's not documented in the AJOM but I believe it to be true.
Take good care of yourself and don't push things too soon.
I hope they send you a goon nurse to take care of you.
Not the hot one but the good one. Yes I know that the
hot one can also be the good one. But a hot nurse may
not be the best in the case of hart recovery.
