Does anyone know of a bolt-on frame crossmember with motor mounts for the 335 series engines? I have seen them for 351W's and actually ordered one for a big block hoping it might fit with slight modification, but would rather return it & buy something that fits perfectly rather than turn it into a hack job.
That's the one. It's low miles, but most of them were in dirt & in 4wd, so the 292 would've required a rebuild anyway. And it's not the original engine either; my dad blew the original in a snowstorm in the early 80's.

Check with Trans Dapt or L&L Products. If you can't find anything, start with a mount kit for a 351W as it will fit a 351C....that will get you about 50% there. The 351M/400 have the same width pan rails and use the same oil pan as the 351C so you'll be in the ball park as far as mounting location. You will need to either modify the frame mounts or custom fab motor mounts that fit the frame mounts and bolt to the 351M/400 block.
