Got a 89 f150 single rear tank truck. In tank pump died. Pulled tank and replaced pump now it works but I can seem to get fuel lines to no leak. The pump line leaks bad when pump is on. I reseated it many times and replaced the little plastic clip thing. If I push it on and hold it while someone turns key its on but soon as I let go it leaks again. It is clucked on all the way. Ive even pushed it on all the way than installed the clip to be sure. There really no room to work in there and it seems the bed frame is totally in the way to the point of interfering with the fuel lines. ****ty design!
I'm to the point of pulling the bed off!
I'm lost never experienced this . Is there an oring or something in there that could have been damaged? And if so how to you replace it on these hard plastic lines?
Ive been covered in gas for 2 days and I'm over this....help
