We can guess and try to look up a early 1970's engine. Or possibly a 351m or 400 may have the same values. We don't have your engine over here in the states to find out what exactly it should be.

I'm confused as I've already answered that question - as shown below. I'm sure I can say what the C/M/400 torque value is because I have the value for the M/400 engine from the factory manual, and the C's used the same heads for the 2V engine. Granted you had different heads in Australia, but the studs/bolts will be the same, as will be the torque values.

A Windsor takes 18 - 24 ft-lbs to correctly tighten the exhaust manifold bolts, but a C/M/400 takes more that twice that: 28 - 33 ft-lbs. That's according to Ford's 1981 Light truck Shop Manual.
