My 05 F250 tires are wearing funny (cupping). Dealer told me shocks need replacing (Original shocks, truck has 130k). My truck just started developing a shimmy/shake. When you start off from a dead stop the front rocks a bit like I have flat tire. When I get over 30-40 mph it goes away??? is this a shock issue or something else?? Thanks

Every time I have had that start to rock at low speeds it has been the start of a tire bulge. It's also not fun to have it completely bulge out at 65 mph on the intestate

Look the whole front suspension over but really cupping is shocks. The side to side sway when first rolling indicates a pulled belt. I would not put off checking that out since steering is involved. Or rotate the back to front ASAP. With the tire off your one bolt away from checking out the shock.
