power steering dip stick
Just received a new to me 74 f250...the little dipstick by the oil one is for the power steering I'm sure but it says on it to replace with automatic transmission fluid on the stick...it's a small like 5 inch stick....confused...

That is an older type p/s pump and does not have the regular looking cap.
Does it have a open ended one finger hook for a pull out handle? I would insp the gasket that holds it in place or come up with a safety wire retainer, just in case....
Pretty sure you can not buy them at the parts house.
