Pro Comp Shocks...any good?

I just noticed a sale, not huge, but still a sale on the Pro Comp shocks at 4 Wheel Parts. I don't have any experience with them and I'm wondering if they're any good. I would really like a nice set of Fox shocks, but if these are much nicer than something like a Bilstein 5100 series, I'd be interested.

They're comparable to the Bilstein 5100s, and the Rancho Loaded Quicklifts.
I personally would go with the 5100s over these, as I've read about some displeasure with overall ride quality on the Pro Comps on our trucks.

Fox or BOSS from F150lifts would be a drastic improvement, however that's twice the price. Those two options also increase the spring rate to 650lbs and 700lbs per side. That's where a majority of the ride quality changes come from with less body roll and brake dive due to the heavier spring rate.

Thanks...I'm not in a hurry to replace the shocks on a truck with only 34K miles so I'll wait and end up with the Fox shocks.

I think that's a wise choice. I really love my BOSS, but the steel body is showing a bit of premature weathering. The Fox's aluminum body should hold up better in that regard.

Are you looking for a height increase as well?
