You talking about coolant? It shouldn't throw any code or cel.

Thanks, thought so when I read it on a post but you never know. Dealing with the issue of oil cooler replacement as advised by Ford dealership, been trying to flush but still getting wrench light on dash. Could the eot sensor be causing this wrench lite if it is bad?
Thanks, Dean

So, you have a "wrench" light? Get the truck scanned for error codes instead of guessing what is wrong.

Yea, had it scanned they said it was the oil cooler. But what if it is just the sensor, can the scanner tell if it is the actual cooler? Dont want to put out the 3K unless I have to.

Coolant doesnt get over 190 when wrench lite is on and the engine oil temp is 210, doesnt make sense that cooler is bad.

Two things first I would do a cold soak and see what your temps are,it may also be a bad thermostat.
