I really want to do some work on my suspension. I have no idea how my current ride height compares to stock. 51 years later it would seem there is some sag in the front end.
When looking at my front leafs they are almost flat. How much arc was in them when new?

Im undecided if I should reverse the eyes in my current springs or go with new springs.
Performance Online sells 4 springs, shocks and shackles for about $900 + shipping. They offer stock, 2.5 and 4 drop. I would hate to get a 2.5/4 drop and have my rear lower than the front because the fronts have sagged. Currently my rear is about 2.5 in higher than the front.
You can reverse the eyes AND put the arc back in the spring giving you a better ride.........It's just a matter of a shop press, I have done a few and it isn't difficult at all. 2.5 inches higher in the rear sounds about right. Remember these trucks came with different spring packs so not all will sit the same.
