New springs, I am so frustrated!!! What to choose???

I cant make up my mind on what to go for for new leaf springs.

One day I want to go for the midfifties Short & Smooth 3" front 3.75" rear

Then I have doughts on the spring travel in front

Next day its posies Dual Flex 3" lower up front and Super glide in the rear 3"

With same drop in front but with Thinner springs (dual flex) witch would give a better spring travel.

Still have doughts on spring travel, so last night I was thinking of Midfifties short & smooth with stock eye witch will give a stock ride hight?

Mhy not going stock ride height?

Anyone with pictures of trucks with stock ride height?

All recomendations are greatly appreciated

I am interested in what others have to say about this subject. I have the down and forward springs from mid fifty, which I understand are the short and smooth reverse eyes with the wheel moved forward. I have put them on, but of course haven't driven it and don't have an engine it. I also have the short and smooth reverse eye springs for the rear, so I'm interested in what people have to say and what you choose.

Maybe you already know, but the short and smooth and down and forward springs are made by Eaton Detroit Springs.

I went with Posies Dual Flex and Super Slide on my '50 F-2. See below picture but ignore larger rear tires and tire position in rear wheel well. This is an F-2 (122" WB normally) that was shortened by a PO to 112" WB. The rear fenders need to be moved forward on the F-1 box by 2".

Have fun getting the spring pivot pins out. Hopefully yours are not too rusted or worn. If so there are lots of guys on here that were a big help to me.
