Question 2003 Ford Explor XLT

I have an 03 explorer. My husband and I took out factory stereo and put in a
Jensen Cd player. We used the Jensen for a while and it we decided to take
It out and put the factory one back in. All wires seem to be hooked up correctly
And we think all the fuses are good we've checked exterior fuses under the hood
And interior fuses that is under the steering column. Are we missing
Something? Any ideas? Everything else all electronics are working fine
Just no power at all going to stereo, it won't power on. Any help would be
Appreciated, trying to avoid going to dealership and having to pay an arm and a leg.

Welcome to FTE.

29 min is no time at all to wait here. Be patient.

As to your reinstallation, are you sure you have the correct power wire connected, and that it does in fact have power?

And the ground wire connected as well?

Do you have a volt meter to check with? Or a test light?

fuse #3 by your left knee under the steering wheel.... might be blown if you touched the power wire to ground during the rebuild.

Did you save the factory wiring connector and connect every wire that was cut? Or, better yet, did you use a harness adapter when installing the Jensen so that no wires were cut?
