Blue smoke?

Hope you get a good answer from somewhere. I didn't. I had the same problem this past winter with mine. Had Ford look at it, tests run, everything checked but no concrete answers. It could have been fuel related. I changed gas stations after testing my theories on the blue smoke occurrences and fuel stops time frame. After I changed fueling locations/brand, all the blue smoke events stopped. I'm assuming it was bad fuel. It hasn't happened in 4 months. I also quit using diesel kleen and went back to using Ford's cetane booster/cleaner. Can't say this might have caused it. I guess I'll never know. It was embarrassing to say the least, leaving people behind me in clouds of blue smoke. Mine also made weird noises and engine clattering noises on acceleration.
About two months after my complaints, their Ford diesel tech had the same issues as I had with his truck. He never figured out why it happened.
Try changing fuel brands to start. Good luck.
