Okay so twice, on separate nights I parked nose down and in the morning fired right up. So that means the shaft seal in HPOP is bad. Can I pull the pump and replace all the orings and be good or do I have to get a new pump for this? Any suggestions for pump manufacturers for bigger injectors?
If that corrected the original problem you can confirm it by parking it the way you normally do and if the problem returns you need to replace the HPOP. I have heard good things about the dieselsite pump and while expensive have proven to be more reliable than the OEM pump.

yeah sorry, works pretty hectic sometimes. i have looked at this HPOP before and i was going to get the higher output version eventually. i will be replacing the pump when i get back from vacation i guess. hopefully the truck makes it a couple more weeks before i have time to work on it. if it is the shaft seal would that cause any other issues? surging or rough idle? I have upgraded spool valves and warren diesel tells me the rough idle can be tuned out by a good tuner, well i dont recommend MPT. I gave them a very specific layout of my truck and my tune runs less than par. when i called about this they told me that every tune that is named the same is pretty much the same. for example my "bazooka" tune even injectors, exhaust ect is the same as a stock truck tune they give. i payed for a custom tune. not $50 for 1 stinking canned tune that sucks anyway. the free tunes ffrom spartain kick it in the pants.
