Quick Disconnect Fuel Line Question

How do these things disconnect? I have a set of fuel line disconnect tools, the ones that are round and you just push it in to disconnect. The ones in this truck, down by the shock tower where the fuel lines start to come up to the engine are a bit different and they don't seem to work. These have a lever on them. Are you suppose to push on that lever to disconnect or is there a special tool needed.

The lever is a safety catch I believe. It will unclip so you can use your disconnect tool

That"s correct. Unhook the lever and swing it out of the way. You can use your tool to release it then.
