need help removing fuel lines

need help removing fuel lines
Anyone have any suggestions on how to separate these lines? I've tried every brand of fuel line disconnect tool I have and none of them has worked. I can feel it push into the fingers but I can't separate them.

I use a Lisle brand tool:
Lisle LI37000:Lisle Air Conditioning/Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Sets
Those fittings are just like the ones down by the HFCM and are a bear to get to come apart if they're been together for a while.

I hate to say it but that set of lines suck. I dont ever disconnet them. you can remove the intake with out touching them.
if you are doing head just remove the 10 bolt that hold them to the lifting bracket, unbolt them from the filter housing, then remove the lifting bracket. once you have that bracket out the lines will lay to the side.
you can see them sitting there in one of the pics in this thread.

I wasn't needing to remove them but I had installed some rubber plugs in the fuel filter fittings to keep dirt from getting in them and I accidentally broke the tip off of one and I'm not sure if it fell out or went deeper into the fuel line. I was just wanting to take it off to blow out the line to make sure.
