It actually did sprinkle ( tiny bit) right after I posted last, I looked out at the Pool and
19 drops hit the water, But 5 were from rain 6 was Bugs and 8 from Don't really know, maybe bird droppings

We had a huge lightning storm last night that lasted about 15-20 minutes. Didn't get rain then, but it rained sometime during the night as I woke up this morning and all the streets were wet.

We got lightning, heavy rain and hail yesterday. Powerful thunderstorms but crappy timing. I was cleaning my garage and had all kinds of stuff in the driveway. The rain and hail came quickly and most everything got soaked. Oh well, we needed the precip. Maybe more to come this afternoon too.

We just got hot... I went to town yesterday and met some friends for dinner. I did my grocery shopping afterwards to avoid the crowds. Ended up heading home about 9 pm and it was still 99* in town.
About 9:30 it finally broke and dropped down to 88*. It was 84* when I finally got home at 10:00...

Ditto today, minus the hail. Nice and cool this afternoon.
I wish we would have had this weather back during the fire. Lost a lot of very pretty country. It'll never return to its glory in my lifetime, sadly.

hey fellas. i'm back. actually been back since the 4th of june or so. been busy trying to catch up at work and assemble a package for some advanced schooling program the CG offers. on top of all that i've been busy helping rosie plan and prep for our wedding Aug.6. almost a month away! got my ring today as a matter of fact.
thought about you dudes over the past few weeks. telling myself i need to logon and say hello.
hope the fourth of july weekend treats you right and your families all travel safe and have fun.
hotter than the hubs of haiti here in oakland. lots of fireworks to include a torched pickup truck just a few days ago on the railroad tracks.
