We didn't get any rain yesterday but did early this morning. WiFi is down at the Vet Plaza, and been down since Wednesday night. I am here at Denny's using their WiFi and having their all American slam.

That's a heck of a meal Jim. I miss Denny's... Ours closed about 7 years ago.
We've had small spurts of localized rain around the county. Some spots will get almost half an inch and have flash floods, and 20 miles away will be dry. Last I heard I think there had been about 30 downstrikes. Probably half of them caused fires.
But after the fiasco we had last here the USFS is finally getting out there and fighting them before they cause problems.

Scary when the Lightning starts to strike and thing are sooo Dry
, we got sprinkle's, No major down pour like we really needed, but hey at least the mountains got it with a little snow
were off Pool meet in the Morning then Sunday thinking about putting the Jet Ski in the Water Anybody know where some water is
Maybe I'll wait till after the swim meet and put the jet ski in the Pool

hey guys. thanks for the wedding wishes. sounds like everybody's fourth of july was a safe one. we got some good video from the top of our building of the surrounding area... if i didn't know any better, the footage makes it seem like its filmed on the streets of a third world country.
quite friday night here in oaktown. doing some research on torque converters.
manufactures, tips, pros/cons, prices, ease of maintenance...
tomorrow we're headed to tamales bay tomorrow for oyster grilling, beers, and maybe some kayaking/paddleboarding.

Converter for the Great White?
I might be running to Corvallis this afternoon. One of my best friends got ran over riding his bike last night. He's ok considering the situation but I dont think he'll be able to handle himself for a few days. His parents actually live about an hour closer than I do, and they MIGHT be going up there later in the week. I didnt like them in high school and I dont like them now...

no water. no water to spare anywhere. we bought water balloons for the fourth of july and i felt (and still feel bad) about telling rosie i don't approve of that purchase. i don't approve of us filling water balloons and throwing them around haphazardly like... just not a good responsible way of living in a drought...
i feel like i'm an 85 year old grandpa snapping at his grandkids that just wanted to have simple honest fun...
anyhow...
another day here in oaktown. we'll be headed to SJ tonight for dinner and picking up wedding items from rosie's folks house.
yea, snow white may need a new TC. i was thinking of calling schaffers off-road in alameda. seen a couple you tube videos they put together of this off-road F250... they appear to do serious solid custom off road work. wonder if they'd help or offer TC replacement services...
