no wiper wash
Problem: When I try to wash my windshield the wiper wash pump does nothing, no noise or anything.
I have checked the fuses but none are blown. I think the same fuse works both the wiper blades and washer pump but I'm not sure.
I checked the wires to the washer pump and all seem to be connected. I'm at a loss unless it's a bad pump and I don't know how to test that.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jason
I have temporarily placed the wiring diagram from the 2005 Factory Service Manual in a public file on my server - www.devoll.com/public/F150-Windshield-wiper-washer-wiring.pdf You should be able to view and print it - or save it to your computer. I see no reason the 2005 wiring diagram should not be almost identical on your '07
See if you have 12V hot on the RED wire at the Wiper Motor - that should verify the washer fuse and connection. See if you have 12V hot on the DK GRN - that should verify the wiper fuse & connection. If so on both, see if you have 12V hot on BLK/WHT wire (Pin 1) at the washer pump motor with ignition ON and washer activated. If not, I would suspect the relay (or microprocessor) inside the wiper motor - if so I'd WTS out of the washer motor
.Hope this will help narrow the problem down for you.
