I was impressed with the gas mileage on my 2015 f350 6.2 on a recent vacation to the white mountains in Newhampshire. I drove 800 miles on the trip and averaged 16 mpg! It was 16 mpg hand calculated also. Just me and the wife with 500 lbs of cargo and a 200 lb truck cap. Ran great with plenty of power climbing some steep grades!
I have averaged 16 mpg on several long highway trips. However, the traffic was sparse, there were low rolling hills, and the cruise control was on for the majority of the time. Plus I kept it around 65 mph.
If I put my foot into it, or traffic is stop 'n go, then 13-14 is more the norm.

We must have filled up at the same station!! Last week I did a trip down to the Cape and back (260 miles) and averaged 18.1 !!! Never in the 2 1/2 years of owning this truck has it ever done that good. My guess is they forgot to put the ethanol blend in the fuel. FYI mines a Raptor with 4:10 gearing.

Wow, that's some good mileage with 4:10 gears. If I could drive a steady 55 mph I know I could get 18 maybe 19mpg easy. Not bad for a gasser! I like those Raptors too. If I could afford another truck I'd get one.
Wow you guys just have much better gas over on the east coast.. I was driving down and back to see my daughter for a few weeks and the best I got was 13.1 doing 65mph cruise control with barely any hills.. like.. just enough to get over creeks.
