Do I need new hood?

you could take hood off, turn upside down, cut out the bad area and wire feed a new plate to repair......... but might heat up or distort the hood or paint on the outside. Cheaper, but time consuming, and you need a welder ........ Replacement hood might be faster.

I come with idea I will just screw some metal plate from bottom of hood. Need not weld nothing nor take apart. Evidently all 4 screws will go soon or lather. Do not like go to junkyard as will not be capable to mach color. Again if hood hinges look so you need not ask about gates hinges and gates and that area of bed.
