Challis, ID to Salmon, ID
I was going to run tomorrow from Challis, ID north going towards Salmon, ID with the 5th wheel and noticed that it isn't on the truck route map. Is it safe to travel with the a 36' 5th wheel? Any help would be appreciated.
Looking at google it looks alright but don't want to get into a situation . https://www.google.com/maps/dir/%27%...45.1730824!3e0

I have no idea - but because my (almost 4 years old) current GPS has been acting up (heat related) I just ordered a new RV GPS; delivery is due Wed.
With it I can input the height, weight, length, etc of my fifth wheel and then ask it to provide a safe route. Not that I expect to run into problems but just in case; AND it has an internal database of campgrounds/services that I may find helpful.
Due to my previous excellent experiences with Garmin units this was my choice: http://g.factoryoutletstore.com/Shop...ufF3Cx99m8GycQ==
I see that my link doesn't take you to the specific product so allow me to EDIT: NEW/not refurbished Garmin RV 760LMT, $305 delivered.

Eventually a new GPS will be in order, I'm still using a car style one. When routing I cross reference with the trucker atlas and google maps (when possible). This particulate route is 1 hr and 5 min but when using the trucker atlas for routing it wants to take you down and around the mountain chain about 4.5 hours.

Even so, I see that didn't happen, but then again, it's a guy thing to never ask for directions/advice when traveling.
That's for my wife to do...
