BreakLight

my left break light doesn't work when the truck is running, but works when its off, is this a break light fuse issue? Everything else works, turn signal, tail light, and the BREAKLIGHT works when the truck is NOT running, but when its RUNNING, the break light dont work, have ANY idea what this is? I been sweating my face off trying to figuire it out for the past 2 hours. lol its 105 here
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!

Try this. With the key off, step on the brake pedal and have a helper watch the brake lights (or you can back up to a wall and see the light yourself). Now turn the key to the ON position (but don't start truck) and see if both brake lights stay lit. If the left one goes out my guess is that you have some kind of short in the ignition switch, or some seriously hokey wiring.

I know it sounds weird, but cycle the 4-way flashers.
Sometimes the switch gets stuck in a midway position.
There are a number of things going on in the column.
