I have a brake light out. The passenger side.
i replaced the brake pedal switch and
All 4 rear bulbs
Tail lights work both sides
Blinkers work both sides
All combos tried, lights on, lights off, blinkers on and off and still only the drivers side brake
Light works, not the passenger.
I was thinking about maybe a bad bulb socket? But everything else work.
I used the correct 1156 & 7 bulbs
Try slightly lifting your turn signal switch and see if that brake light comes back on. Have you tried turning on the hazards to see if the bulb works for them? If it also doesn't come on with the hazards, then that really points to the turn signal switch.

I didnt even realize the truck had hazzards!!...
I pulled it out, it took a little wiggling, who knows the last time it was pulled. My results.... the hazzards came on, all lights.
so i then shut them off and stepped on the brake. both sides came on!!!
I consider this problem solved!!!!!!
Thank You!!!!
Woohoo! I hadn't thought about the hazard switch not being all the way in the Off position! But I have seen that end up being the problem on other Fords. I was thinking more of what my truck was doing when I realized that its TS switch was bad.
