Cold Air Injection Unit?
I have a 2010 F250 with a 5.4 gas. I wondered if a CAI would help power and gas mileage. I have a friend who put one on his mustang and it helped a lot, especially with power.
Does anyone have experience good or bad with this to help me make a decision on whether to go with something like that?

They don't make huge difference

the problem is the engine heat heats up the tube...so remote air that comes in becomes just as hot as it were local air.

The air doesn't sit in the tube for long....

Well, seems like most agree they are not worth it.
Not into wasting money.

It's louder but not much more power. I like the stock paper filter. I don't want my motor inhaling any particles of dirt.

Cold air is right up there with those tornado units that would bolt onto Jeeps.
