Cold air induction

I was at the local pick-a-part and was looking at air cleaner setups from a 70's LTD that had the snorkle tube that draws air from the front of the firewall. I'm thinking this setup could be put on my '72 to get cool air into the 302. Has anyone experimented with something like this?

never heard of anything like it can you tell us more? j/k sounds like a good plan, but I'd say add a second snokel somehow so that you have more air if your trying to take advantage of that

What is that air cleaner off of? Where do the ends of the ducts go to?

Thanks

Sedric, since you have a 302, why don't you pick up an air cleaner off a late model carbureted GT. They are already set up with the dual-snorkels and air ducts.
