Help calculating towing/payload
I have a '11 F-250 CC SB 3.73 4x4 6.2L.
I tow a 7,200lb loaded up Travel Trailer. Has a tongue weight of 900#, will verify tonight on exact.
I want to put a ~850lb Polaris X2 in the bed.
Will I be within the limits?
Looking at Ford's website, my truck has a 19,000 GCWR and 3,250 payload.
Is this how to calculate it?
19,000# GCVWR
-7,500# Truck + full tank of gas (35g) and me (180lbs)
--------
11,500# remaining
-7,200# Travel Trailer
--------
4,300# remaining for cargo and passengers
-300# wife, two kids, and a dog
--------
4,000# remaining for cargo
Should be OK?
