Found something strange.
A couple of weeks ago my check engine light illuminated so I called my dealer and made a service appointment. They couldn't get me in for a few days so I went ahead and hooked up my scan tool. I forgot the two codes but they were left and right bank lean. I started at the beginning and took off the air filter housing and tube. I looked at the MAF sensor and lo and behold there was something stuck to it. I peeled off a piece of what appeared to be black masking tape. It had jagged edges like someone had torn it from a roll. No telling where that came from. I'm guessing something left in there from the factory as it was too big to get past the filter. Anyway, after I removed it my code cleared and it seems I've pick up one or two MPG.
