'69 E300 Tire/Wheel Question
Hi, I finally decided to put 16-inch wheels/tires on my econoline to replace the 16.5 original steel wheels. Because mine is a 1 ton - the wheel studs are very large - and I am told that regular ford 8 lug wheels will not fit. I happen to have a complete set of ford 8 lug duallie wheels from an F350 I used to own. I did a rough measurement and I believe the duallie wheels are 7 inch wide.
do you think the duallie wheels will fit on the econoline? And if they will fit, should I get 225-70s, or 225-75s? there seems to be plenty of room in the rear, but the front wheel well looks pretty confined.
