injector lines leaking

so I need a little help. I have a 1991 F250 I think it is the 7.3 and I know its a non turbo dual tank truck and it seemed to be worse on one tank than the other as it pertains to this leak issue at first. anyway I have had the truck for about a year , and I am not in town much, but last time I was home it started leaking( fuel PS side of the motor ) where the metal injector lines attach to the injectors. I took the 2 that where leaking off and it looked like the O rings on the injectors where just old and starting to split. so I used a regular O ring kit with no luck they still leaked so then I took the plastic cone shaped piece that goes over the top of the injector and put a small brass washer and put on top of it where the injector line screws down as it look as if the cone piece was loose just a hair and need to be pushed down a little more. this seemed to work but then the next two injectors started ,etc my question is has anyone here had to chase this issue. I am thinking that it could be you have to use special size O rings ? vs ones out of a kit or is the cone piece replaceable ? I would think as long as the O ring was snug it would work, also could there be another issue like the return line valve being clogged. just look for what normal for a old injector leak issue. I asked because if the two just started leaking why would the other to start as soon as I fix the first two unless there was a return line issue and the first 2 leaks relieved the pressure enough and now that its fixed the pressure made the next 2 weak lines fail ? or is it normal when these O rings fail for them all to start leaking. Also note its all on the PS of the motor drive side no leaks at all

Return lines and caps

Your need a return line kit and use viton o - rings 111 available at McMaster carr. 2 o rings per injector once you start moving the caps around they all start leaking.

cool I found a kit on ebay , lines clamps , return hose , o rings , etc
hey can you help me with belts ? I am not home to look right now its a 1991 diesel 4x4 with AC , vac pump , PS & alt ( info for belt size purposes ) . I broke a belt and it cause the 2nd belt to get thrown off. I was able to get the one belt back on so I had a water pump to get home the day it broke( no PS or alt on way home ) then I ran out of time and parted it. So basically I need to replace both belts. thanks

Yes I know its a 7.3 being non power stroke. question did ford not use a 6.9 IDI a few years before that and I heard it was the same engine and used a lot of the same parts.. anyway injector O ring kits for 92-94 & 83-91 fords now on the one I bought this list 2 sets one set was for early and late. looking at the picture of the plastic housing mine looked like the late which they also listed a 91 to 94 ??? I was confused because I seen other kits listed 92-94 so is the late 91 kits the same as the 92 to 94 kit ? because it was cheaper. anyway here is a link to what I just ordered check it out and let me know if you think I got the right one. note in the picture as what they show as a "LATE" looked like what I was working one to keep from leaking
