Where is the diesel leaking from? the base of the injector, the plastic 'T', the fuel return lines on the T or the injector line at the top?

if the injector is leaking from the top you only need a return line kit or you can possibly get away with getting 2 new viton o-rings i think they are #11 but not sure.if it is leaking from the bottom you need an injector and maybe a return line kit

tweldon,
Welcome to FTE and the IDI diesel forum.

O ring size is #111.
Two under each return tee.

What shape are the return lines in?

You probably need a new set of return lines and O rings.

When you work on the return lines, do yourself a favor and replace everything.
If you don't you will be chasing leaks forever.

Tweldon,
Just replaced the block heater on mine, I think it was $36. Mine was replacement although the instructions were for new install in case you don't have one. Disconnect battery, drain radiator, pull starter, pull old heater, or freeze plug [coolant will come out]. If your 92 truck is like mine [I only know mine] then the GP's aren't bad except for that dang one under the turbo. A 1/4" drive, long socket, one of those hinging attachments, and [ If I recall correctly] a short extension, along with some patience. Good luck

Are you sure you have no block heater check the freeze plug hole right above the starter it could be that either the cord is gone or the cord is coiled up and tied off somewhere. At those temps you shouldn't need the block heater.

right if all is in order with the engine and the gp system you shouldnt have any issues with starting. And with position of the bad gp it is always in the worst place. Mine is either #7 or #8 never an easy one. haha.

That was weird, double post with a delay and it would not let me edit it.

I need to check mine, it is a Texas truck and they may have skipped it.

Edit, looks like I do not have one.

From what I have seen over the years in here, many of the southern trucks did not have block heaters.

If I remember right, that was an option.

If everything is in good working running order unless you are in the panhandle or west texas it never gets cold enough to reqire it.
I generally don't worry about it unless it is single digits and have started as low as 9 below without it.
