Need hard details on what has been done thus far, before we can start making meaningful suggestions.

EGR Delete
Atlas FICM, 40 if you tow/haul, 80 if you don't
What injectors are you moving up to?

Egr has been done. Have not replaced the FICM yet but also plan to do that. Not positive about the injectors, my mechanic gets them but I do know they're not stock. I can call him Monday to find out.

Need to know injector size. Blue spring may not be enough. Might have to go to a 6.7 pump, and a regulated return.

Also, stock turbo will work itself to death with big injectors. Powermax or KC turbo.

I will call my mechanic tomorrow about the injectors. What size should they be.? Also, what is the blue spring.? And I'm glad to hear you say powermax because that's the one I've been looking at getting.

Blue spring is an upgrade from Ford to assist with maintaining fuel pressures.

The kit comes with a spring that will raise you fuel pressure 10-15psi. It is recommended that fuel pressure be at
least 45psi at wide open throttle and stay below 90psi. while it's a good idea to test pressure before doing this
update it is unlikely to over pressureize a properly working system.

Is this something I can do anytime or should it be done after I replace the pump.? If it even still needs to be done after replacing the pump and regulated return.?

Dude, you're getting way ahead of yourself. Put it in park, and let it idle for just a minute.

1. What are your realistic goals and expectations for this truck?

2. What kind of disposable cash do you have to toss at this build?

"10 seconds" is a good bit outside of the comfortable daily driver range.
Doable, but expensive, and neither you or the truck will be happy slogging through traffic to and from work every day.

Here's something to chew on: I started with a running core engine. I'm 6,500 invested in internal parts and machine work, 500 into a FICM, 300 into an HPOP, 400 into a new oil cooler, 1500 into injectors,
And I've yet to buy my turbo, tuner, select tunes, EGR delete, Regulated return, coolant filter kit, oil filter relocation kit, 6.7 pump, a butt-load of -AN fittings and hose, tank sump, and a bunch of other $100-$300 doodads that I'm going to need before I light the fires on this beast.

My goal was/is 500 horse. I've been told by several people involved with this build that I'm going to be close to 600. We'll see.

Pick a target, and we'll help you get there. But right now, you're just lobbing rounds down range.

Full Disclosure: I did a lot of things that you don't "have" to do to a 500 horse motor. However, if I ever decide I want more, 650-700 is a set of injectors, and a fresh tune away.

I bought it originally as a daily, but have bought other vehicles since so this doesn't have to be once I start building it more.
My goal is to have a 10 second truck. My job offers as much overtime as I can take, so I can make as much as need to do what I want to the truck, just have to put the time in which I am willing to do. I just need pointed in the right direction on where to go from each part and which is the best to buy. But I am starting with the injectors since I'm getting them replaced next week anyways. So, I probably am getting ahead of myself of what I have the money for right at this moment, but I just want the knowledge of what I should be doing before I get there, ya know.? From the way my job is going right now, I plan on putting between $500-$2,000 a month into this thing (that'll obviously vary with other things I want to buy).
