So here's the problem I'm having with my clutch fan the clutch fan comes on when its supposed to but doesn't shut off it came on one time when I was pulling a trailer it was on for a week after that then one night we had some cooler weather it shut off everything was fine then a few days latter we had a hot day it came back on and hasn't shut off since I don't know if its sensor related or computer or if the clutch fan its self is gone I unplugged wiring harness from clutch fan and it was still
On is there anyway to get it to shut off until I put a new one in

If you unplugged it and it's still stuck on it needs to be replaced.
not very hard. plenty of videos on it.
You really need something to read live data to tell if it is a mechanical issue or a sensor telling the PCM that something is not right and to keep the fan engaged.
Just for reference your fan when working properly will not actually stop the blade from turning. There are conditions when it just freewheels/idles and other conditions when it is turning fast enough to actually make a difference{under load}

is there a way to see desired and actual fan speed or just desired.
Depends what your reading with. Most full scanners will but I am not shure on the monitors or phone apps. Never used one of those. From what I read Torque Pro and Dashboss are the most comprehensive coverage.
Scan gauge has a Xgauge for desired (fan duty cycle) I believe.
It also has one for fan RPM (actual). I watch this one myself.
I think the phone apps have the same.
