changing rear blocks on a '15 F350 for shorter blocks
I really need to lower the bed height of my '15 F350. With my new fiver I am sitting at 13'5" give or take a half inch. This is way to close to the 13'6" of some overpasses. I have raised the pin box as far as possible and the Pullrite slider isn't adjustable. I have read in the past of others taking out the F350 blocks and installing F250 blocks. If I do this, what issues will I have? I have read of driveline issues?
What parts do I need besides the new blocks, and new axle u bolts? Oh and I guess shorter shocks for a F250.

This might be a question for the Super Duty section found here Super Duty & Heavy Duty - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
Although, from what I have read the F-350/250 are 99% the same truck when talking about SRW. I don't think you would have any adverse mechanical problems if you swapped for the lower blocks.

First, I would crawl under your truck and make sure you actually have the 4" rear axle blocks as somewhere here someone noted that their F350 had only 2 inch. Then that change out - I would do that only if the 5er is riding nose high. Our current 5er is riding pretty level with the current truck but the last truck-trailer combo rode a bit nose high and was at 13'6" plus over the vent covers. We never had a highway problem though did pull one of the vent covers off in our neighborhood 2X - both times with power lines that had sagged way low. The power company have now fixed the lines after a moving company 'wiped' them out and I fixed the cover.

I think you have that backwards Dave. All the 350's come with 4" blocks. Some of the 250's come with 4" blocks but most have 2". The only way a 350 would have 2" would be if someone swapped them before you owned the truck but the OP bought new so....
